This week, visible progress continues across the site. The sodium hypochlorite (liquid bleach) holding tanks have arrived, and final work is underway on the sludge buffer and holding tanks, including electrical, mechanical, and stair/guardrail installations.

Inside the O&M building, the high-capacity process blowers have arrived, marking a major step in outfitting the facility’s treatment systems.

Last week, on the final Wastewater Wednesday of 2024, we reflected on the significant progress of the FPUA sewer treatment plant on Energy Lane. Despite weather challenges and minor delays, construction is on schedule and within budget, with 50% of the work completed and most structures finished.
