Pre-fabricated steel wall framing boards prepped for pours on May 17

This week we’re seeing more progress made on the Nereda basin foundation, with only two pours left before crews begin working on the 20 foot vertical pours of the basin walls! We can see the pre-fabricated steel wall framing boards being prepped for pours beginning May 17th. We can also see the Reclaim Storage Tank’s ceiling dome framing coming together, also ready for its first concrete pour later this month.

Once the concrete dome is complete, crews can begin tensioning the walls with a tight wrap of reinforcing steel that will add structural integrity before finishing off the outside with a final layer of finished concrete. And finally, while it may just look like a bunch of dirt, we can see the final grading and initial board framing of the MWRF Operations and Maintenance building, with foundation work beginning this month!
